As you begin the journey from Jr. High to High School with your band student, the Boosters would like to make the transition a little easier. Speaking from experience, it is quite a different world when you become a Freshman Band Parent!

To make the transition smoother, the Boosters have a Freshman Parent Liaison. This person is here for you! If you have any questions (like where to go, when to be there, how things work, how you can help, and anything else), you can contact this person to get an answer.

Here are some upcoming events that you should be aware of as a Freshman Parent:

***In July: Look for a packet in the mail with the following information - 1) Music for Band Camp/Marching Season, 2) Information about Band Camp and what you need to bring (ex.: lyre and flip folder for marching and where to get them), and 3) Order forms for Dinkles (marching shoes), band t-shirt and shorts, Tux shirt (if in Symphonic Band or Wind Ensemble).

***Band Spirit Wear - This is seperate from the band t-shirt and shorts. A order form will be given out during band camp.

***August 24th is the Wildcat Welcome Day for Freshman - you will need to pay the Pay to Participate fee that day, in the office.
